Notes for Exilda ( Azilda) Choquette
Good afternoon Roger,

The information we have about Exilda CHOQUETTE is from the Vermont Vital
Statictics and quite limited. It comes from the marriage record which took place
on February 26, 1900 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, where it is stated that she was
a 26 year old shirt maker, from Auburn, Massachusetts (that would mean she was
born around 1876), daughter of Paul CHOQUETTE and Philomene MASSE who married
Albert J. LEFEBVRE, a 25 year old weaver ( which would make him born around 1875,
the place of birth not mentioned), son of Pierre LEFEBVRE and Elizabeth COUTU.

As the maiden name of the mother is ususally not mentioned in english speaking
documents, it is sometimes difficult to be certain that I have the correct
relationship. You mention Napoleon. I have a Louis Napoleon, born January 27,
1865 in La Presentation, St-Hyacinthe County whch could be a brother of Exilda
but no other information about him. I don't have an Angelique MASSE.

Regards and Best Wishes

Jean Choquett
